During one of our visits to a nursing home in Singapore, we met Mdm Hanisah<\/strong> \u2014 a kind and cheerful resident whose gentle smile left a lasting impression on our team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we spoke, she shared her wish \u2014 to visit her sister and spend a day at her family home again. Her sister, now elderly herself, could no longer travel to the nursing home. And because of Mdm Hanisah\u2019s medical condition, she required proper medical transport and supervision for any journey outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That simple wish \u2014 to go home \u2014 had quietly become difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her story moved us deeply. We saw how much it meant to her, not just to leave the nursing home, but to return to the familiar warmth of family, to sit with her sister, share a meal, and talk like they used to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
